The graphics superseded the original by far especially when the game gave you the opportunity to switch to the original rendition of the game, but what really made Grim Fandango so damn good was the fact they didn't change a single thing, I played the whole game with tank controls to get the ultimate feel, I loved the voice acting, the puzzles were smart and engaging and the story was PHENOMENAL! Maybe I liked the fact the 90s neo-noir feel was still intact and undamaged, maybe I fell in love with the nostalgia, nevertheless it was a beautiful game which I will be recommending to everyone.
